Bings
A downloadable game
Bings
I developed Bings entirely on my own as my first project. It’s a shooting game with many different mechanics where you can complete a level by blasting all the Bings with a single hit. Later levels introduce various challenges, such as holes, black holes, and one-sided Bings. You can experience this 140-level adventure on Google Play.
Mechanics
Normal Bing: When the ball hits a normal Bing, it bounces, and you cannot complete the level until all normal Bings in the scene are cleared.
Dark Bing: When the ball hits a Dark Bing, the ball bounces, and the Dark Bing remains on the scene. You don’t need to hit Dark Bings to complete the level; they only make the level more challenging.
Light Bing: When the ball hits a Light Bing, it does not bounce, and you cannot complete the level without hitting the Light Bing.
One Side Bing: When hit from the correct side, it behaves like a Light Bing; from the wrong side, it behaves like a Dark Bing. You must hit One Side Bings from the correct side to complete the level.
Portal: When the ball enters one portal, it exits from the other.
Buttoned Bing: You cannot hit the Bing without pressing its button. When you press the button, the classic Bing becomes active on the screen.
Black Hole: If the ball falls into a Black Hole, the shot fails, and you need to try again.
Hole: You must drop the ball into the hole after clearing all Bings. If the ball falls into the hole before all Bings are cleared, the shot fails.
